Poached Sea Bass

Poached Sea Bass with Fried Great Northern Beans and Crispy Hearts of Palm

 

Ingredients:

 

Fish Pouch

1.5 lbs fresh fish filet (Sea Bass, Tilapia, Salmon)

2 tbs. Garlic Olive Oil 

dash of salt/pepper

1tsp Greek Seasoning

 

Crispy Hearts of Palm

1 can Hearts of Palm

½ Cup Gluten Free Panko

Salt

½ Cup Olive Oil (Butter Infused/Garlic Infused

 

Fried Great Northern Beans

1 can Great Northern Beans 

Pinch of red chili flakes

 

Mashed Potatoes (your own recipe, homemade or instant)

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 

 

Cut fish into individual filets. Arrange each in middle of a piece of foil and add olive oil, salt/pepper and seasoning. Crimp up the foil to make a sealed pouch for poaching. Bake the fish in pouch 15-20 minutes.

 

While the fish is in oven. Cut hearts of palm into thin slices, coat with gluten free panko bread crumbs and salt to taste. Heat olive oil in pan. When hot, add the breaded hearts of palm and fry about 4 minutes per side. Remove hearts of palm from oil and drain on papertowel. 

 

Re heat the olive oil in the pan, add Great Northern Beans and fry for about 3 -4 minutes. Remove beans from pan and allow to drain on papertowel. 

 

Assemble the dish: mashed potatoes, poached fish, beans and hearts of palm and enjoy!
